Sample Menu: Diabetic-Friendly
This client specifically requested “Diabetic Friendly Comfort Food Dinners”. This will likely be one of the few meals they will have at home, so I am hoping they would pack the left overs for lunches at work, to keep them from eating things they probably shouldn’t. I wanted to give these clients something that would be satisfying, nourishing, and not feel like they are being deprived, while still eating healthy food. I made all meals plant-based, because I truly believe that is the healthiest way to eat, and the best way to support reversal or improvement of a patient’s type II Diabetes.
Seasonally Inspired Diabetic-Friendly Comfort Food Dinners
I have divided up the menu by seasons, in order to provide seasonal ingredient guidance and to get the client thinking about what their bodies might need during each time of year.
